Light in the Attic to Reissue Five Françoise Hardy Albums

Francoise_HardyÉtre tranquille mon cœur! Er, be still my heart! Got carried away there, as I’m ecstatic that purveyors of all things cool and archival, Light in the Attic Records, will reissue five classic albums by French chanteuse and yé yé girl icon Françoise Hardy! Fans will know her renowned single “Tous Les Garçons Et Les Filles,” but more casual listeners may recognize her song “Le Temp De L’Amour,” which is featured prominently in Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom.

As an avid fan of 60s French pop, I’ve been able to track down a couple of these records over the years, but Light in the Attic is about to make that process so much easier–not to mention the fact that listeners no longer have to worry about scuffs and scratches on old vinyl. You can order each album individually, or get a discount when you order them all together. Get to ordering right here! Watch Hardy perform on French TV below.
