The Sour Notes Kickoff Tour with Killer Austin Show

We’ve written before about how industrious the members of Austin’s The Sour Notes are. To commence their upcoming national tour, the group has amassed a phenomenal bill of artists, including Royal Forest and The Midgetmen, for a show that will take place on Saturday July 21st at Red 7 and feature both the indoor and outdoor stages. In addition to the 14 awesome bands, a photobooth sponsored by Bird’s Barbershop will be on premises for all your photo fun needs and is sponsored by a slew of reputable folks including Sonic Vault, Vitamin Water, Austin Town Hall, and Pop Press International.

For anyone who hasn’t heard, virtually everyone who witnesses a Sour Notes show are immediate converts. The band plays unapologetically blistering indie rock with nods to 50s pop and interludes of excellent guitar solos. It’s a must see show. Below are the set times for the event, but c’mon Austin, you know these things are flexible. Do the right thing: show up early, stay late, and have your face rocked by some of Austin’s finest musical talent. Below the set times are a stream for the Sour Notes, the event poster for the show, and the band’s tour dates. For our out of town friends, catch this band where you are!
